Top Award for Mozzie
Saturday, 17 Jan 2026

At Camperdown on Saturday we saw a very nice mare in Mosquito Award break through for her first win, rewarding her owners for their patience.
Coming off a very game 2nd placing on debut, she was sent out one of the favourites and was able to get the gun run one out, one back. She got around the tight turn at Camperdown and hit a flat spot but when she balanced up she was able to unleash a good sprint and get her nose in front on the winning post.
Having shown talent at home from day dot, she has taken a while to fully physically mature and show her best but we're confident now that she's got her maiden out of the way there will be plenty more to come. Congratulations to the Bouchier family who have been great supporters of the stable and we're looking forward to seeing her at the Warrnambool carnival this year.
